hi friends! sorry for another month-long lapse in posts. the end of my industry rotation track got busy and i was preparing for fellowship applications (which are scarily starting soon!).

i am currently on my fourth rotation (with my second preceptor). this is an ambulatory care rotation, meaning that i am shadowing healthcare providers including pharmacists in health clinic setting. i have been enjoying this rotation so much so far. i have a very supportive preceptor and all of the patients have been lovely.

things have been a little crazy with my hobbies. i am fully back into playing video games again, specificially farming games. i clock out of my rotations and jobs to work as a farmer every night lol.

after a month of eric staying with his family, he is finally back at our apartment. he has begun teaching again (i can’t believe it is already that time of year). he definitely missed muffin and i. we have been trying to make up for lost time and watch a bunch of shows we got behind on. we are so excited to start watching the new ted lasso season.

in other news, i have fallen head-first into my madonna era. i am obsessed with her and have been exploring her discography over this month. she is a true icon and i can’t believe i slept on her music for this long.

muffin has been sweet as ever. she gave eric and i a true scare last month. i brought muffin to his parents’ house in indy to give him some time with her. after i drove to frankfort for work, he called me in tears to tell me that muffin had gotten out and had been missing for hours. my parental instincts kicked in and i drove back to indy and we searched for her together. after an approximately 5 hour search, muffin was found by the sweetest lady ever. muffin was apparently being sweet and playing fetch with little kids a few streets over. the lady saw our post about muffin on facebook and called us immediately. it was one of the scariest moments of my life. i hug her tighter now!
